Obituary for Phyllis Kearney

Kearney (Andres), Phyllis I. age 89, passed away peacefully December 16, 2015. She was born September 27, 1926 in Midland, PA , raised a family in Pittsburgh PA, and moved to Centerville, Ohio with her husband in 1993. She was a loving wife and mother, and delighted everyone she met , even through her last days. She graduated from The Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh PA in 1947 and became a dedicated nurse. She was also an excellent seamstress and gifted knitter. And, according to her father "Lunch" Andres, she was the best "darned" shortstop on the all boy Little League baseball team. She was preceded in death by her husband William (Whitey) and her son David. Survived by her Daughter-in-Law Karen Kearney, and children Keith (Teresa), Tim, Carol Kearney-Sigafoos , Scott (Noelle) and grandchildren Eli, Mollie, Kevin, Caitlin, Patrick, Kaleb, Billy, Brittany, Heather and Kean. Visitation Saturday, December 19 from 2-5 pm followed by a Memorial service at 5:00 pm at Schlientz and Moore Funeral Home, 820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd.
